On the night of March 25, the Defense Forces struck a ship of the Russian occupiers at the Vyborg Shipyard in the Leningrad Region.

This was reported by the General Staff.

Previously, the military managed to hit the patrol icebreaker “Purga”, which was planned for operations as part of the Border Service of the Russian FSB.

As the General Staff said, such vessels are able to perform the tasks of both an icebreaker and a warship.

“The Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to strike important enemy targets both in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and on the territory of the Russian Federation until the armed aggression against Ukraine is completely stopped,” the General Staff emphasized.

It was previously reported that drones struck the Vyborg Shipbuilding Plant in the Leningrad Region. The attack caused a dry cargo ship to catch fire.
