Defense forces hit Russian military facilities in occupied territories: UAV depots under attack

On September 30 and the night of October 1, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Rubicon UAV storage facilities and the Russian military missile and artillery weapons depot. The storage and training sites for strike drones and the UAV control point were also hit.

This was reported by the General Staff.

In particular, a place for storing, training, and releasing strike drones was hit in the Donetsk region.

In the Pokrovsky district of Donetsk region, Ukrainian military personnel struck an enemy UAV control point.

A missile and artillery weapons depot was also hit in the Verkhnyokamyanka area of Luhansk region.

In addition, an area of concentration of weapons and military equipment of Russian units was hit near Tymoshivka, Zaporizhia region.

The Defense Forces also confirmed the destruction of the Rubicon UAV storage depots in the Volnovakha area of the Donetsk region on September 23, 2026.

Destruction of such objects is one of the priority tasks of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, as it allows reducing the ability of Russian troops to use strike drones on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure.

“Work on key military targets of the Russian occupiers continues,” the defense ministry noted.

It was previously reported thatthe Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important military facilities of the Russian occupiers on September 29 and on the night of September 30.
