Defense forces hit Russian strike UAV base and command posts: General Staff provides details

On September 7 and the night of September 8, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of military facilities of the Russian occupiers.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, in the Donetsk region, the Ukrainian military struck a facility where enemy strike drones were stored, prepared for use, and launched.
Two more UAV control points of the Russian troops were hit in Chornomorske in occupied Crimea and Zaliznychne in Zaporizhia region.
In addition, near Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region, the Defense Forces struck an occupier control point.
The scale of the enemy’s losses and the damage inflicted on it is currently being clarified.
The Defense Forces emphasized that operations to destroy important enemy military targets continue.
It was previously reported that on the night of September 7, Ukrainian intelligence officers shot down a Russian plane in the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea.
