Defense forces hit the Russian Black Sea Fleet base in Novorossiysk: fires broke out

On the night of September 9, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Novorossiysk naval base in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.
This is reported by the General Staff.
It is known that fires were recorded on the territory of the base, as well as at the fuel oil terminal of the seaport.
In addition, explosions have been confirmed in the areas where Russian ships are based. The extent of the damage to them is currently being determined.
The Novorossiysk Naval Base is an important base for the Russian Black Sea Fleet. It is used for maintenance and logistical support of Russian ships.
It was previously reported that on September 7 and the night of September 8, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of military facilities of the Russian occupiers.
