Defense forces hit two military targets in Russia: what is known about the strikes

On the night of July 11, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck two facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex.
This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, the Special Operations Forces and the Security Service, in cooperation with other components of the SOU, struck the Shipunov Instrument Design Bureau. The enterprise specializes in the manufacture of missiles for anti-aircraft missile and anti-aircraft missile-gun complexes (AMC/AMG) for the enemy army.
According to the General Staff, explosions, smoke over the industrial zone, and the movement of ambulances and fire engines towards the target were recorded.
Information regarding the number of victims and the extent of damage is currently unknown. The results of the strike are being clarified.
In addition, the General Staff confirmed the attack on the Voronin Lukhovitsy Aviation Plant, a branch of JSC “RSK “MiG”.
As the department explained, the enterprise carried out various works. These included machining of parts, final assembly, flight tests, delivery of Russian MiG combat aircraft, etc.
It is known that explosions were heard and a fire broke out on the territory of the facility.
Earlier, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenko, reported that Ukrainian defenders struck a defense enterprise in Russia – the Lukhovitsy Aviation Plant, located in the Moscow Region.
Recall, on the night of Friday, July 11, a series of explosions shook the Russian regions near key enterprises of the defense-industrial complex . The attacks were recorded in Tula, the Moscow region, and the Tver region.
