Defense forces repelled 120 assaults by the Russian army: where is the most difficult situation?

Over the past 24 hours, 120 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on October 24.

According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 90 air strikes and dropped 184 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 4,987 attacks, including 152 from multiple rocket launcher systems, and used 6,688 kamikaze drones to destroy them.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Danylivka, Novouspenivske, Solodke, Hulyaipole, Rychne, and Hryhorivka in the Zaporizhia region.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, an artillery system, a command and observation post, and an enemy control point.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, the enemy carried out three air strikes, using eight guided bombs, and carried out 210 attacks, six of which were from multiple rocket launchers.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy tried 11 times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Kamyanka, as well as in the direction of Bolohivka.

Four enemy attacks took place in the Kupyansk direction yesterday. Our defenders repelled enemy assault actions in the areas of Kupyansk, Pishchane, Stepova Novoselivka, and Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted nine attacks, trying to penetrate our defenses in the areas of the settlements of Nadiya, Novoselivka, Zarichne, and Shandryholove.

In the Slavyansk direction, over the past 24 hours, our defenders have stopped 14 enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Yampol, Serebryanka, Siversk, and Viymka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the past day.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 12 attacks near Shcherbinivka, Rusyn Yar, Katerynivka, and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 39 assault actions of the aggressor near the settlements of Nykanorivka, Myrnograd, Rodynske, Lysivka, Zvirovo, Udachne, Molodetske, Novoukrainka, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Kotlyne, Novopavlivka, and Dachne.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out 14 attacks over the past day in the areas of the settlements of Filiya, Sosnivka, Novoyehorivka, Orestopol, Pavlivka, Kalynivske and in the direction of Pryvillya.

In the Hulyaipil direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the past day.

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled three enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Stepove, Stepnohirsk, and Plavni.

In the Prydniprovskie direction, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
