Defense forces repelled 134 attacks by the invaders in a day: where did the most clashes take place?

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 8 a.m. on March 23, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.
The defense forces are repelling attempts by the occupiers to improve their position and advance deeper into the territory of Ukraine, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment on various sections of the front.
In total , 134 combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours. Over the past 24 hours, aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 11 areas of concentration of manpower and equipment, and one UAV control point.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 67 air strikes, dropping 285 guided bombs. In addition, it used 9,266 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,811 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 57 from multiple rocket launchers.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region: Ivanivka, Velykymykhaylivka, Kolomyytsy; in Zaporizhia: Svitla Dolyna, Kyivske, Vozdvizhivka, Novoselivka, Kopany, Hulyaipilske, Dolynka, Verkhnia Tersa, Tersyanka, Ostrivske, Komyshuvakha, Krynychne, and Volfyne in the Sumy region.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, the enemy carried out 103 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including 5 using MLRS. It carried out two air strikes using five CABs. During the day, one enemy attack was recorded.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy tried five times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the direction of Starytsia, Vovchanskie Khutory, Zybyne, and Okhrimivka.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked four times in the direction of Borivska Andriivka, Kupyansk, and in the direction of Novoplatonivka and Kivsharivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked four times, trying to wedge into our defenses, attacking towards Shyykivka, Dibrova, and in the area of the settlements of Seredne and Stavka.
In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped seven attempts by the occupiers to advance towards Zakitne, Riznykivka, Pazeno, and Platonovka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy tried three times to improve its position, storming the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Chasovy Yar.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 12 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivano-Pol’ya, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 29 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka and in the direction of Hryshynye, Shevchenko, Molodetskyi, Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked five times in the areas of the settlements of Ternove, Novohrygorivka, Krasnohirske and towards Yegorivka.
In the Hulyaipol direction, there were 15 attacks by the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Hulyaipol, Solodke, Myrne, Olenokostyantynivka, Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, and Staroukrainka.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy tried to improve its position by attacking once in the direction of Lukyanivs’k.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy attacked once in the area of the Antoniv Bridge.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy, putting up effective resistance on all sections of the front.
By the way, last day the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 970 people . The enemy also lost a tank, five armored combat vehicles, 24 artillery systems, a multiple launch rocket system, 1,999 unmanned aerial vehicles and 136 units of automotive equipment.
