Defense forces repelled 156 attacks by the Russian army in a day, the hottest in the Pokrovsky direction

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 8 a.m. on September 22, 2025 regarding the Russian invasion.
In total, 156 combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours. Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery struck two command posts, nine areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, three UAV command posts, an artillery unit in position, and two warehouses of enemy military property.
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 94 air strikes, dropping 191 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out 5,469 attacks, including 235 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 6,470 kamikaze drones to strike. The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Dobropillya, Druzhkivka, Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region; Havrylivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Orikhiv in the Zaporizhia region; Inhulets, Odradokamyanka in the Kherson region.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks by the invading forces. The enemy also launched 14 air strikes, using 34 guided bombs, and carried out 165 shelling attacks, including 11 from multiple rocket launcher systems.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy tried 13 times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the area of the settlements of Vovchansk, Tykhye, Zapadne, and towards Odradne.
Six enemy attacks took place in the Kupyansk direction yesterday. Our defenders repelled enemy assault actions in the areas of Stepovaya Novoselivka, Novaya Kruglyakivka, and Kupyansk.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted 21 attacks. They tried to penetrate our defenses in the areas of the settlements of Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Shandryholove, Kolodyazi, Torske, and Novoselivka.
In the Siversky direction, the enemy made three attempts to advance in the areas of Serebryanka and towards Viymka and Yampol.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupier attacked three times in the direction of Stupochky and Novomarkovo.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 11 attacks in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Poltavka, and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 49 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Pankivka, Nykanorivka, Novoekonomichne, Chervonyi Lyman, Promin, Chunyshyne, Zvirovo, Udachne, Kotlyne, and Dachne.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy carried out 20 attacks over the past day near the settlements of Filiya, Zeleny Hai, Piddubne, Maliivka, Sichneve, Komyshuvakha, Vorone, Novomykolaivka, and Zaporizhske.
In the Hulyaipil direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four attacks by the occupiers near Olhivske and towards Poltavka.
In the Orikhiv direction, the invaders tried six times to advance on the positions of our troops in the Kamyanske area and towards Malaya Tokmachka and Novodanylivka.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive operations in the Dnieper direction over the past day.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, and actively undermine the enemy’s offensive potential in the rear.
By the way, last day the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 960 people . Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized a tank, an armored combat vehicle, 47 artillery systems, a multiple launch rocket system, three helicopters, 403 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 118 units of automotive equipment of the invaders.
