Defense forces repelled 164 assaults by the Russian army: where did the most clashes occur?

Over the past 24 hours, 165 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on August 13.

The enemy launched two missile strikes with six missiles and 89 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 183 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 5,120 attacks, 64 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 4,166 kamikaze drones to destroy them.

The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Boyaro-Lezhachi, Kamyanka, Seredyna-Buda in the Sumy region; Bilogirya, Prymorske, Malokaterynivka in the Zaporizhzhia region; Odradokamyanka, Antonivka in the Kherson region.

Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery have struck ten areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, one artillery piece, two drone control points, and one air defense system of the Russian invaders.

There were 17 clashes in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions. The enemy launched 17 air strikes, dropped 28 guided bombs, and carried out 281 shelling attacks, including eleven from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has carried out three offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Vovchanski Khutory, Kamyanka, and Krasne Pershe.

In the Kupyansk direction, eight attacks by the invaders took place over the past day. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the directions of Kindrashivka, Moskovka, Kupyansk, Boguslavka, and Novaya Kruglyakivka.

In the Lymansky direction, the enemy attacked 23 times. He tried to advance in the areas of Hrekivka, Myrny, Zarechny, Karpivka, Torsky, Dibrova, and towards Shandryholovy and Serebryanka.

In the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight enemy attacks over the past day. Units of the occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Hryhorivka and Viyimka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, three clashes were recorded in the Oleksandro-Shultyny and Stupochok areas.

In the Torets direction, the enemy carried out six attacks in the areas of Nelipivka, Shcherbynivka, Rusyny Yar, and Yablunivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 47 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Popovy Yar, Mayak, Rubizhne, Volodymyrivka, Kolodyaz, Nikanorivka, Kotlyne, Novy Shakhovy, Novoekonomichny, Zvirovoye, Udachny, Lysivka, as well as in the Pokrovsk, Zoloty Kolodyaz, Rodynsky and Promen directions.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 28 enemy attacks in the areas of Dachny, Shevchenko, Novoukrainka, Zirka, Vilny Pole, Oleksandrograd, Tolstoy, Myrny, Maliivka, Olhivka, Voskresenka, and Andriivka-Klevtsovoye.

Over the past day, in the Hulyaipil direction, our defenders successfully stopped two enemy attacks in the direction of Poltavka.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy twice attacked the positions of our defenders in the area of the settlement of Kamianske and in the direction of Novoandreivka.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the aggressor carried out six offensive actions in the direction of the settlements of Prydniprovske, Antonivka, and Hola Prystan — the Defense Forces successfully repelled all enemy attacks.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
