Defense forces repelled 170 attacks by the invaders: where the most clashes took place

Over the past 24 hours, 170 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on June 29.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 65 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 113 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 5,826 attacks, including 96 from multiple rocket launcher systems, and used 3,004 kamikaze drones to destroy them.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular on areas of settlements, including Vilhuvatka, Pidlyman in Kharkiv region; Pokrovsk in Donetsk region; Berezove in Dnipropetrovsk region; Zaliznychne, Bilogirya, Orekhov, Kamianske in Zaporizhia region.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery struck an area of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, a UAV control point, and seven enemy artillery pieces.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, 22 clashes took place over the past day. The enemy launched 13 air strikes, dropped 30 guided bombs, and carried out 373 shellings, including 16 from multiple rocket launcher systems.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 12 times in the areas of Vovchansk, Hlyboky, Stroivka, and towards Kutkivka.

Nine attacks by the invaders took place in the Kupyansk direction yesterday. Our defenders repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the areas of Golubivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Zeleny Gay.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 19 times, trying to penetrate our defenses in the areas of the settlements of Nadiya, Novoyehorivka, Ridkodub, Zelena Dolyna, Yampolivka, Hrekivka, Torske, and towards Serebryanka and Hryhorivka.

In the Siversky direction, our soldiers stopped 11 enemy attacks near Hryhorivka, Verkhnyokamyansky, and towards Viymka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders attacked four times in the area of Chasovy Yar and in the direction of Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out nine attacks in the areas of Kurdyumivka, Toretsk, Leonidivka, and towards Yablunivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 56 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Popiv Yar, Myrne, Myrolyubivka, Malynivka, Koptevye, Promyn, Lysivka, Udachne, Kotlyarivka, Horikhove, and Oleksiivka.

In the Novopavlivske direction, the enemy carried out 20 attacks over the past day in the areas of the settlements of Yalta, Zaporizhzhia, Dniproenergia, Vesele, Novosilka, and Shevchenko.

In the Hulyaipil direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled two attacks by enemy troops near Malynivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, the occupation troops once tried to storm the positions of the Defense Forces near the settlement of Kamianske.

The invaders did not conduct offensive operations in the Dnieper direction.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
