Defense forces repelled 174 assaults by the Russian army: where did the most clashes take place?

Over the past 24 hours, 174 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on August 26.
According to updated information, the invaders carried out 67 air strikes, dropping 128 guided bombs. In addition, the Russians used 4,807 kamikaze drones to destroy them and carried out 4,774 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Stara Huta in Sumy region; Kostyantynivka in Donetsk region; Havrylivka in Dnipropetrovsk region; Bilogirya, Zaliznychne, Malokaterynivka, Omelnyk, Lukyanivske in Zaporizhia region; Virivka, Odradokamyanka in Kherson region.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck five areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, and two enemy artillery systems.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, Ukrainian units repelled five attacks by the invaders. The enemy also launched 6 airstrikes, dropping 11 anti-aircraft missiles, and carried out 179 attacks, including 5 from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 12 times near Glyboky, Vovchansk, Ambarny, and towards Kutkivka and Kolodyazny.
Eight clashes took place in the Kupyansk direction yesterday. Our defenders stopped the enemy’s assault actions in the areas of Synkivka, Holubivka, Kolisnykivka, Lozova, and Zagryzove.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 28 times. He tried to penetrate our defenses near the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Hrekivka, Kolodyazi, Novoselivka, Zelena Dolyna and towards Yampol and Serebryanka.
In the Siverskyi direction, the Defense Forces stopped five offensive actions of the invaders in the areas of Fedorivka, Hryhorivka, and towards Serebryanka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, 13 clashes were recorded yesterday, the occupier tried to advance in the areas of Chasovy Yar, Bila Hora, and towards Stupochy and Predtechyny.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out six attacks in the areas of Diliivka, Toretsk, Rusyn Yar, and Oleksandro-Kalynovoy.
In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 43 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Mayak, Myrolyubivka, Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Grodivka, Sukhyi Yar, Lysivka, Chunyshyne, Zvirovo, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Horikhove, and Dachne.
In the Novopavlivske direction, the enemy yesterday carried out 19 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Yalta, Zeleny Hai, Voskresenka, Shevchenko, and Komyshuvakha.
In the Hulyaipil direction, a Russian attack took place in the Malynivka area.
In the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers twice tried to advance in the Plavni area and towards Pavlivka.
In the Dnieper direction, the aggressor’s troops made three futile attempts to advance on the positions of our units.
No signs of the formation of offensive groups of the aggressor were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
