Defense forces repelled 176 attacks by the invaders: where did the most clashes take place

Over the past 24 hours, 176 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on June 20.

According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched one missile and 55 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using five missiles and dropping 75 guided bombs, and using 2,798 kamikaze drones. The enemy also launched 5,062 artillery shells, including 114 from multiple rocket launchers.

The enemy carried out airstrikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Krasny Khutir in Sumy region; Novopil in Donetsk region; Olhivske, Zaliznychne, Kamianske, Plavni, Novoandreivka in Zaporizhia region.

Over the past 24 hours, the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces have struck 22 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, two command posts, six missile troops and artillery assets, and one other important facility of the Russian invaders.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled 13 enemy attacks. In addition, the aggressor carried out eight air strikes using nine anti-aircraft missile systems, and also carried out 207 shellings, including ten from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, enemy troops went on the offensive 12 times in the areas of Vovchansk, Zelenye, and Stroivka.

Yesterday, two attacks by the invaders took place in the Kupyansk direction. Defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions near Stepovaya Novoselivka.

There were 29 clashes in the Lyman direction. The enemy tried to advance near the settlements of Novyi Mir, Hlushchenkove, Hrekivka, Nadiya, Ridkodub, Karpivka, Zelena Dolyna, Yampolivka, and Hryhorivka.

In the Siversky direction, our troops repelled four enemy attacks in the areas of Hryhorivka and Ivano-Daryivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy carried out 13 attacks in the area of Chasovy Yar and in the direction of Stupochok, Predtechyny, and Bila Hora.

Over the past day, in the Torets direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian units 20 times in the areas of Petrivka, Oleksandro-Kalynovye, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar, and towards Diliivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, over the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped 52 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Poltavka, Myrne, Myrolyubivka, Koptevo, Promin, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Horikhove, Oleksiivka, and Novoukrainka.

In the Novopavlivske direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 attacks by invaders in the areas of Zaporizhia, Perestroika, Bahatyr, Novoselka, and Shevchenko.

In the Hulyaipil direction, our units repelled one enemy assault, near Malynivka.

In the Dnieper direction, enemy units once unsuccessfully tried to advance.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Orikhiv direction.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
