Defense forces repelled 235 assaults by the Russian army: where did the most clashes take place?

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian defense forces have repelled 235 attacks by the Russian occupiers, including over 70 airstrikes, 6,800 attacks by kamikaze drones, and 3,534 shelling of settlements and positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The most active fighting continued in Donbas and Zaporizhia region, and all attempts by the enemy to break through were successfully repelled.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on March 19.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 70 air strikes, dropping 235 guided bombs. In addition, it used 6,831 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,534 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 110 from multiple rocket launchers.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region: Ivanivka, Dobropasove, Pokrovske; as well as Vozdvizhivka, Novoselivka, Zelene, Zirnytsia, Dolynka, Hulyaipilske, Kopany, Lyubitske, Zalivne, Veselyanka, Yurkivka and Bilenke in the Zaporizhia region.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation has struck five areas of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, the enemy carried out 118 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including 16 using MLRS. It carried out three air strikes using three CABs. Six clashes were recorded during the day.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy tried 14 times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders towards the settlements of Veterinarne, Zelene, Prylipka, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Chuhunivka, Okhrimivka, and Bochkovo.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked ten times towards the settlements of Kupyansk, Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 13 times, trying to wedge into our defenses, attacking towards the settlements of Lyman, Drobysheve, Stavky, Dibrov, and in the areas of Novovodyanye and Novoyehorivka.
In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped seven attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Yampol, Platonovka, and towards Riznykovka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy tried to improve its position seven times, storming in the areas of the settlements of Holubivka, Pryvillya, Minkivka, Nykyforivka, and towards Malynivka.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 32 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillya, Stepanivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka and towards Kostyantynivka, Illinivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders, according to updated information, stopped 54 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Toretske, Rodynske, Zatyshok, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Filiya and towards the settlements of Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Muravka, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked four times in the areas of Zeleny Gay, Stepovye, and Rybne.
In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 14 attacks by the invaders in the areas of Hulyaipil, Myrne and towards Zaliznychne, Dobropil, and Staroukrainka.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders successfully repelled five enemy attacks near Stepovoye, Shcherbaky, and towards Novodanylivka.
The enemy did not conduct any assault operations in the Dnieper direction.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
