Defense forces repelled 312 assaults by the Russian army in 24 hours: where did the most clashes occur?

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 8 a.m. on February 9, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.

In total, 312 combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours. Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck the enemy’s personnel concentration area and engineering structure.

According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out two missile strikes, using 11 missiles, 65 air strikes, and dropped 148 guided bombs. In addition, it used 3,960 kamikaze drones to destroy them and carried out 2,741 shelling of settlements and positions of our troops, including 104 from multiple launch rocket systems. The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Kolomiytsia, Dnipropetrovsk region; Zelena Dibrova, Barvinivka, Nizhenka, Lyubitske, Vozdvizhivka, Kopany, Zaporizhia region.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, three clashes took place over the past day, the enemy carried out three air strikes using six guided bombs, and carried out 78 attacks, including five from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy tried to break through the defensive lines of our defenders eight times, in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Starytsia, Prylipka, and towards Figolivka.

There were 14 enemy attacks in the Kupyansk direction yesterday. Our defenders repelled enemy assaults in the direction of Kupyansk, Podoliv, Petropavlivka, Pishchany, Novoosynovo, Novaya Kruglyakivka, and Novoplatonivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted 22 attacks. They tried to penetrate our defenses in the areas of the settlements of Drobysheve, Seredne, Zarichne and towards Druzhelyubivka, Stavki, Shyykivka, and Lyman.

In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped 15 attempts by the occupiers to advance towards Zakitne, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Platonovka, and in the Dronivka area.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy carried out one attack in the Orikhovo-Vasylivka area.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 32 attacks, near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Yablunivka and towards Kostyantynivka, Ivanopillya, Illinivka, Mykolaipilya, Stepanivka, Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 72 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Muravka, Myrnograd, Filiya and towards the settlements of Toretske, Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novooleksandrivka, Serhiivka, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Ivanivka, Hryshyne, Novyi Donbas.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out eight attacks over the past day, in the Pryvillya area and towards the settlements of Andriivka-Klevtsove, Ivanivka, and Oleksandrovgrad.

In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 29 attacks by the invaders – in the areas of Solodke, Hulyaipil, Dorozhnyanka, Myrne, Dobropil, and towards Zaliznychne, Olenokostyantynivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled five enemy attacks in the area of Kamiansky, Shcherbaky, and towards Lukyanivsky.

No enemy offensive actions were recorded in the Dnieper direction.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.

Our soldiers inflict significant losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, and actively undermine the enemy’s offensive potential in the rear.

It is worth adding that in total, the losses of the Russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1,250 people . The enemy also lost three tanks, three armored combat vehicles, 12 artillery systems, 413 unmanned aerial vehicles, one missile, and 113 units of the occupants’ automotive equipment.
