Defense Forces Repulsed 182 Russian Army Attacks: Which Areas Are Hottest?

Over the past 24 hours, 182 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on October 15.

The enemy launched one missile strike and 101 air strikes on Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 225 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 4,429 attacks, 85 of which were from multiple rocket launchers, and used 5,256 kamikaze drones to strike.

The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Novoandreyevka, Orikhiv, Novodanylivka in Zaporizhia region; Olhivka in Kherson region.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery have struck six areas of personnel concentration, a drone control point, an air defense system, and two other important facilities of the Russian invaders.

Five combat engagements took place in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions. The enemy launched 12 air strikes, used 32 missiles and dropped 28 guided bombs, and carried out 164 attacks, including five from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, 16 combat clashes took place yesterday near Vovchansk, Kamyanka, Zapadne, and Kutkivka, as well as in the direction of Kolodyazne and Bologivka.

Nine attacks by the invaders took place in the Kupyansk direction over the past day. Defense forces repelled enemy assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Pishchane, Kupyansk, and in the Petropavlivka and Novoplatonivka directions.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 11 times, trying to advance in the Lyman and Drobyshevy directions and near the settlements of Seredne, Shandryholove, Torske, and Kolodyazi.

In the Slavyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled six enemy attacks in the past day. The occupier units tried to advance in the areas of Yampol, Pereyzny, Viyimka, Hryhorivka, and Fedorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, two combat clashes were recorded in the areas of Stupochok and Orikhovo-Vasylivka.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 14 attacks in the direction of Kostyantynivka, Berestok and near Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Toretsk, Rusyn Yar and Poltavka.

In the Pokrovske direction, our defenders stopped 69 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Nove Shakhove, Nykanorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Sukhetske, Dachne, Mykhailivka, Novoekonomichne, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirovo, Kotlyne, Myrnograd, Udachne, Molodetske, Horikhove, Novoukrainka, Filiya and in the direction of Pokrovska and Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 26 attacks near the settlements of Ivanivka, Oleksandrivkagrad, Vorone, Verbovye, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Zelenyi Hai, Maliivka, Yalta, Sichneve, Sosnivka, Novomykolaivka, Poltavka and in the direction of Krasnohirske.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked five times near Stepovoye, Plavni, and Stepnohirsk.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Hulyaipil and Prydniprovsk directions in the past day.
