Defense Forces Repulsed 245 Russian Army Attacks: Which Direction Is Hottest?

Over the past 24 hours, 245 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on October 10.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 71 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 161 guided bombs. In addition, 4,252 kamikaze drones were used to strike and 4,146 attacks were carried out on the positions of our troops and settlements, of which about a hundred were from multiple launch rocket systems.

The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Pidlyman in the Kharkiv region, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region, and Zaporizhia in the Zaporizhia region.

Yesterday, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck two areas of concentration of enemy personnel.

Ten combat clashes were recorded in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day. The enemy carried out ten air strikes, dropped a total of 28 guided bombs and carried out 140 attacks, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, 30 combat clashes took place in the areas of Vovchansk, Vovchanskiye Khutory, Stroivka, Zapadny, Dovgeny, Kamyanka and towards Dvorichansky, Kolodyazny and Bologivka.

Nine attacks by the invaders were recorded in the Kupyansk direction during the day. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the areas of Stepovaya Novoselivka, Kupyansk, Petropavlivka, and Ivanivka.

In the Lymansky direction, the enemy attacked 14 times, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Kopanky, Karpivka, Kolodyazi, Novoselivka, and towards Stavye.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 17 times in the areas of Yampol, Serebryanka, Novoselivka, Viymka, and Pereyzne.

Over the past day, three combat clashes took place in the Kramatorsk direction in the areas of Chasovy Yar and Orikhovo-Vasylivka.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 23 attacks in the areas of Bila Hora, Shcherbinivka, Rusyn Yar, Poltavka, and towards Pleshchiivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 72 attacks by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Novotoretske, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Sukhetske, Novoekonomichne, Myrolyubivka, Novoserhiivka, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirovo, Kotlyne, Udachne, Kotlyarivka, Horikhove, and Filiya.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 44 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Ivanivka, Piddubne, Oleksandrgrad, Sichneve, Sosnivka, Vorone, Berezove, Novovasylivske, Novohrygorivka, Malynivka, and Poltavka.

The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Hulyaipil direction.

In the Orikhiv direction, the invaders tried four times to advance on the positions of our troops in the areas of Stepovoye, Kamiansky, and towards Novoandriyevka.

In the Dnieper direction, enemy units made four futile attempts to storm the positions of our units.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
