Defense forces shot down a Su-34 that attacked Zaporizhia with guided bombs

On the night of September 25, at approximately 4:00 a.m., Ukrainian air defense forces shot down a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber. According to available information, it was from this aircraft that Russian troops carried out guided bomb strikes on the city of Zaporizhia.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The fact of the destruction of the air target was confirmed by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Other details are not being disclosed at this time.

“On the morning of September 25, a Russian Su-34 was shot down near Zaporizhia, which was participating in terrorist attacks on the city using aerial bombs,” the official statement said.

As a reminder, as of the morning of September 25, Russia had lost about 1,105,490 soldiers since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Over the course of the day, the enemy’s losses in manpower reached 940 people.
