Defense forces stopped the accumulation of Russians in the northern areas of Pokrovsk: the purge continues

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have stopped the expansion of the occupiers’ presence in the northern areas of Pokrovsk and are conducting a clearance operation there.
This was reported by the press service of the 7th Corps of the State Security Service.
Over the past few days, Ukrainian defense forces have created conditions for replenishing troops with additional personnel and equipment in the 7th Corps’ area of responsibility.
In this way, it was possible to stop the accumulation of Russians in the north of the city and prevent the road connecting Pokrovsk and Rodynske from being cut.
As noted in the DSHV, more assault units and special forces are being deployed to counter the enemy army. In particular, on Sunday, November 2, 19 occupiers were eliminated in Pokrovsk.
Russian soldiers were also spotted on the approaches to the southeastern outskirts of Myrnograd. The press service emphasized that their number is insignificant – about 10 people. Currently, they are trying to destroy them.
Additional forces have already been brought in to defend the city.
It is worth noting that a comprehensive operation to destroy and displace enemy forces is underway in the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd agglomeration . The city’s defense is being coordinated and supported by additional units, weapons, and unmanned systems.
It was previously reported that at the beginning of the week , Ukrainian special forces from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense were sent to Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region to stabilize the situation after a sharp escalation of hostilities.
As a reminder, the enemy continues to gradually penetrate Pokrovsk , increasing its presence with infantry units and increasing pressure on Ukrainian positions.
As is known, the enemy is trying to surround Pokrovsk and advance to the northwest and north of the urban agglomeration , actively using drones and artillery to control the logistics of Ukrainian troops and search for infiltration routes.
By the way, on the morning of October 29 , the Russian occupiers tried to demonstrate their presence in Pokrovsk by installing the tricolor on the entrance ceiling of the city . However, within an hour, the symbol of the occupiers was eliminated.
