Defense forces strike Russian tanker and military logistics
On the night of July 23, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of Russian military and military-economic facilities, including hitting a tanker in the Black Sea, a pontoon crossing in the Donetsk region, and an area where Russian troops were concentrated.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, a tanker used by the Russian army to transport oil, petroleum products, and fuel in the interests of its armed forces was hit in the Black Sea.
Ukrainian troops also struck a pontoon ferry near Novoekonomichesky, Donetsk region. According to the General Staff, the occupiers were using it for military logistics and the transfer of personnel and equipment.
In addition, the Defense Forces struck the area of concentration of Russian troops in Horlivka, Donetsk region.
The General Staff noted that the operation was carried out as part of measures to reduce the military-economic potential of the aggressor state.
It was previously reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down a Russian MiG-29 fighter jet at one of the airfields in the Kursk region.
