The defense forces successfully counterattacked and cleared a number of settlements in the Donetsk region from Russian occupiers.
This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky.
According to him, the situation on the front is not easy, but the Ukrainian military has had some successes. So far, they have managed to clear the villages of Mykhailivka, Zelenyy Hai, and Volodymyrivka from the enemy.
At the same time, Syrsky emphasized that the Russian army has concentrated its main efforts there.
“But we have to hold the line. Assistance in organizing combat operations will be provided. Issues regarding additional ammunition, drones, and electronic warfare equipment have been resolved,” the Commander-in-Chief explained.
In addition, while working in the Donetsk region, he awarded soldiers “for their steadfastness, courage, and exemplary performance of military duty.”

As it became known, the Ukrainian military was able to neutralize the main threat in the Dobropillya area of the Donetsk region and surround Russian units.
