Deputies did not support the bill on the “OLX tax”

The Verkhovna Rada did not support draft law No. 14025 on taxation of digital platforms. The media called it the “OLX tax.”

187 MPs voted to return the document to the government. At least 226 votes are required to pass the decision, so the bill is considered rejected. This was announced by Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk.

MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak previously reported that the government planned to submit additional amendments to the bill before the second reading.

Among them are the cancellation of the benefit for international parcels worth up to 150 euros, the introduction of VAT for individual entrepreneurs, and the retention of the increased military levy of 5% after the end of martial law.
