Dmytro Romanyuk, deputy commander of Ukraine’s 110th Separate Mechanised Brigade, has been killed in action while defending the country on the front line.

This was reported by former People’s Deputy and military man Yegor Firsov.

He reported that the deputy commander of the 110th Separate Mechanised Brigade was killed during a rocket attack.

“Dmytro was the first officer I met in Avdiivka in 2022. He helped me in many ways. At that time, Dima already held the rank of major, despite his young age — he was only 31,” Firsov noted.

He also added that in 2022–2023, Romanyuk and his team accomplished remarkable feats that enabled them to hold Avdiivka for an extended period.

“Despite his youth, his comrades respectfully called him Viktorovich. He managed to do an extraordinary amount for the legendary 110th Brigade,” Firsov summarizes.

Earlier it became known that the commander of the 110th separate mechanised brigade named after General Coroner Mark Bezruchko, Serhiy Zakharevich, was killed as a result of a missile strike on Hulyaipole.
