The situation in the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd agglomeration area of Donetsk Oblast remains difficult. The enemy is drawing on all available reserves and trying to gain a foothold there.
This was reported by the Group of Forces “East”.
As is known, over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces have suffered 97 attacks by Russians in the Pokrovskoye direction. The occupiers are suffering significant losses.
In Myrnograd, Ukrainian units are holding their positions, destroying opponents on the approaches to the city.
The military emphasized that despite the complicated logistics, the information about complete fire control of the roads and the operational environment of Myrnograd is not true.
In particular, according to the group, the day before, Ukrainian units received the necessary weapons and ammunition. Personnel rotation and evacuation of the wounded were also carried out.
The same way, the logistics of the Defense Forces in Pokrovsk are ensured, where active opposition to the occupation troops continues.
Ukrainian defense forces are conducting search and strike operations and eliminating the enemy in urban areas.
It was previously reported that the situation in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast, remains difficult. Russian troops are seeking to create conditions there for a complete encirclement of the city .
As a reminder, Russian troops are actively strengthening their positions in Pokrovsk and accumulating resources capable of conducting surveillance and striking the entire settlement. Control over key approaches to the city has not yet been achieved, which poses a serious threat to Ukrainian defenders.
At the same time, the military said that the Russians have reduced their activity in Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region to reduce casualties while waiting for reinforcements.
By the way, the pace of the Russian offensive in Pokrovsk has temporarily slowed down, but Russian troops continue to block Ukrainian supply lines in Myrnograd .
