Despite sanctions, Poroshenko handed over another batch of equipment to the Defense Forces units

Despite the Supreme Court’s refusal to lift the illegal sanctions, Petro Poroshenko transferred another batch of equipment to the military at the front.

“This morning, the Supreme Court of Ukraine destroyed itself. I thought they would shoot themselves in the foot. No, they shot themselves in the temple. Some judges could not withstand the insane, vile pressure that the SBU exerted on them at the behest of the service’s leadership or the state. The court issued a shameful decision in the case against Zelensky regarding unconstitutional and illegal sanctions. This process dragged on for a year and a half. It is significant that two out of five judges disagreed with the decision. The third judge was broken because of an attempt to initiate a criminal case against her father. Under these conditions, the judge should have declared himself incompetent. Just like the second judge, who disrupted the session when she unexpectedly announced her vacation,” Poroshenko emphasized.

“If sanctions are applied every time someone the president doesn’t like is targeted, if the opposition and public activists are persecuted, we will never be accepted into the European Union,” warns the fifth President of Ukraine.

“This is not the only shameful decision that took place this week. The Pechersk court banned journalists from publishing data on 143 apartments that the family of the SBI director seized. At the same time, SBI investigators broke into one of Ukraine’s largest drone manufacturers, the Vyriy company,” Poroshenko recalled.

“They think they can steal, and journalists will simply be silenced. They are trying to stop Ukrainian drone production,” the opposition leader emphasized.

“Now next to me are representatives of 23 heroic units that are receiving our equipment – dozens of ATVs and mobile sawmills for the front. For the soldiers of the 33rd Motorized Rifle Brigade, we are handing over a trailer for transporting robotic complexes,” he said.

The total number of ATVs that Poroshenko transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine at his own expense has already exceeded 400 units.

“And the number of mobile sawmills has exceeded 50 units. And also hundreds of excavators, washing and shower complexes, and tens of thousands of drones. If it weren’t for these shameful sanctions, we would have been able to help a much larger number of military personnel,” the party leader emphasized.

“We are motivated, we continue to work for the sake of the soldiers and the army. No one will break us. The Ukrainian people and the Armed Forces are with us,” Poroshenko emphasized.

As is known, the Supreme Court, under pressure from the authorities, refused to lift illegal sanctions against opposition leader Petro Poroshenko – this decision will block Ukraine’s membership in the EU.
