During the first wave of the Russian attack on the night of October 14, the partners did not warn Ukraine about ballistic missiles. However, during the next three waves, such messages were already received.

Yuriy Ignat, head of the communications department of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about this during a telethon.

“Many people are wondering if there were any messages from partners. We gave the first message at around 10:40 p.m. that there were no messages from partners about ballistics,” Ignat said.

According to him, during the next three waves of attacks, partners had already warned about the use of ballistic missiles.

It is known that on October 12, Russia also attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles. The first explosions then occurred even before the air alert was announced. The next day, the situation repeated itself.

Information about ballistic missile launches is transmitted to Ukraine, in particular, by the United States. The Ukrainian military can independently detect such high-speed targets as they approach, but at this stage there may not be enough time to raise the alarm and respond in a timely manner.

Earlier it was reported that US President Donald Trump’s special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner demanded that Ukraine stop the strikes on Russian oil refineries. According to media reports, they threatened to deprive Kyiv of American intelligence if the attacks continued.

In addition, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga later reported that Ukraine continues to receive intelligence information from the United States , despite the tension in relations between the countries.
