Dissatisfaction with Putin is growing rapidly in Russia: Zelensky revealed intelligence data
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on the results of Ukrainian intelligence work on the internal situation in Russia. According to him, dissatisfaction with Vladimir Putin is growing in Russia and protest sentiments are intensifying on the eve of parliamentary elections.
He wrote about this in Telegram .
The President reported that he had heard reports from Ukrainian intelligence on the assessment of the internal situation in Russia and documents that reach the Russian leadership.
According to Zelensky, the Ukrainian side has information that allows it to assess the mood inside Russia. He noted that, in the opinion of the Ukrainian side, Vladimir Putin does not always receive complete and objective information, but even the data he has allows him to draw certain conclusions.
Zelensky said that the projected indicators of Russians’ dissatisfaction with Putin continue to grow. According to him, the Russian leadership is already preparing for the fact that this indicator will not be able to stabilize before the parliamentary elections, which are scheduled for September.
The president also said that there is a steady trend of declining support for the Russian ruling party. He noted that this, according to the authors of the relevant reports, means that there is a need for much greater fraud during the election process.
In addition, Zelensky reported a significant increase in protest sentiment in the regions of Russia. He added that the current assessments may not take into account the events of June, July, and August, which could further affect the situation in the country.
The president stressed that the pressure on Russia due to the war will continue and intensify. According to him, by September Putin will have even worse support indicators. To all public and private peace proposals from Ukraine, Russia responded only with statements about the continuation of the war.
“The internal Russian situation should convince us of the opposite: that peace is needed,” the president said.
He emphasized that Ukraine continues to offer agreements on a decent peace.
“Obviously, the trends will not change, and over time this may mean that the deal will have to be concluded with someone else from Russia – with someone who will not close himself off from reality,” Zelensky said.
It was previously reported that dissatisfaction with Russian President Vladimir Putin is growing in Russian government and business circles due to the protracted war against Ukraine, economic problems, and Internet restrictions. Some elite representatives consider the Kremlin’s decisions “self-destructive” and express concern about the situation in the country.
By the way, there are more and more signs in Russia that serious conflicts are beginning within the government . One of the former Kremlin associates, Ilya Remeslo, has openly spoken out against Vladimir Putin and stated that he is not going to remain silent.
