Law enforcement officers have opened criminal proceedings against Ukrainian actor Konstantin Temlyak after public accusations of domestic violence. The case is being investigated by Kyiv police, and other possible offenses are also being investigated as part of the proceedings.

This is reported by Ukrinform .

It is noted that the police have launched a pre-trial investigation into the case of actor Konstantin Temlyak, who was accused of systematic violence by his former partner. Criminal proceedings were opened on August 18 under Article 126-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – “domestic violence.”

According to journalists’ sources in law enforcement agencies, the investigative department of the Podilskyi Police Department in Kyiv is conducting an investigation into the alleged violence committed by Temlyak against his ex-girlfriend. Law enforcement officers are also investigating the possibility of other offenses in the case.

The investigation was prompted by posts by photographer Anastasia Solovyova, who said on Instagram that the actor was a “tyrant and abuser.” She said that the man “repeatedly raised his hand on her, destroyed her psyche, and humiliated her every day.” Solovyova also published photos of bruises, videos of aggressive behavior, as well as correspondence and voice messages, which, she said, contained threats from the actor.

A pre-trial investigation is currently underway, and the investigation must clarify all the circumstances and collect evidence. At the same time, there have been no official comments from Kostyantyn Temlyak himself yet.

Recall that on August 12, the Ukrainian Film Academy officially condemned the actions of actor Kostyantyn Temlyak, who found himself at the center of a large-scale scandal due to accusations of domestic violence and molestation of a minor. The Academy called for a public discussion of the problem and the development of mechanisms to prevent similar cases in the film industry.
