During a large-scale missile and drone attack on the night of February 7, the Russians attacked the logistics center of the Roshen company in the Kyiv region. A fire broke out at the enterprise. As Petro Poroshenko reported on social networks, fortunately, no people were injured.
This is reported by “Pryamiy” .
“This night, Russia again struck not at military facilities. It struck at energy, so that light and heat would disappear from homes. At the railway, to stop movement and communication between people. At logistics and the economy, so that Ukrainians would lose their jobs, confidence, and sense of tomorrow. This is a war not only for territory. This is a war against normal life,” Poroshenko wrote.
He emphasized that he knows how it feels when, after explosions, the first thought is not the damage, but a simple one: is everyone alive?
“And when relief comes only in the morning, along with the news that people managed to take shelter. It is at such moments that you see the main thing especially sharply: Ukraine is not supported by concrete or iron. It is supported by people,” Poroshenko added.
As is known, two weeks ago, the occupiers targeted the Kyiv confectionery factory “Roshen”, then as a result of the enemy strike, an employee died, and others were also injured. Ukrainians on social networks express support for the domestic manufacturer, which is one of the largest taxpayers to the state budget, and share photos of their favorite sweets from “Roshen”.
“At night, Russian war criminals destroyed the warehouse of the Roshen confectionery company. Another “great victory”. They are fighting with old women and sweets, because they are not capable of anything else. Today, I will definitely buy something from Roshen products,” he writes.
Ukrainian blogger and journalist Denys Kazansky.
“At night, the Ruznya fought with Roshen again, destroyed warehouses and a logistics center. Ukrainians during the day: what a figure, we support our own, we will support Ukrainian!!”, writes former Minister of Social Policy Pavlo Rozenko.
“This company has repeatedly come to the aid of Ukrainians in difficult times. And now they need support. And for myself personally, I decided that in this situation I can also lend a helping hand. A small one, but help. I don’t eat sweets at all, but my nephews will only be happy,” writes blogger and military man Oleksiy Petrov.
“Again, a direct hit on one of the largest Roshen warehouses in the Kyiv region. Muscovites took away our peace, light, and warmth, and now they want to take away the most delicious ROSHEN chocolate and candies? We need to go and buy some goodies today to support one of the best Ukrainian productions and its owner and the largest private sponsor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko,” writes Nataliya Diduch, a resident of Ternopil.
Activist from Odessa, Maryna Boyko, posted a photo with a branded “Napoleon” cake and wrote : “There was a legend that Napoleon burned Moscow. Of course, I’m not hinting at anything. Although… Let’s hold on and support our own. Together, we will overcome the insidious enemy and his minions.”
“Well, let’s do more cardio) Delicious,” writes Natalochka Bykhovets under a photo of a Rosheniv cake.
As reported by the Roshen company, during the full-scale invasion of the budget, more than UAH 21.6 billion in taxes was paid.
“We are now switching to a 24-hour operating mode. Despite all the losses, we have made a fundamental decision: the prices of our products will not increase. They will remain stable and affordable,” the company said.
“Roshen” thanked the rescuers of the State Emergency Service, as well as all caring Ukrainians for their support.
By the way, the fifth president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, reacted to the massive Russian shelling of Ukraine , stating that Russia is attacking civilian infrastructure and trying to break Ukrainians. He emphasized that the purpose of the attacks is to put psychological and economic pressure on society.
It was previously reported that a fire broke out in the warehouses of the Roshen factory in the city of Yagotyn, Kyiv region, after a night attack by Russian drones.
Let us recall that on the night of February 7, Russian troops struck Ukrainian energy infrastructure facilities, in particular substations, overhead power lines, as well as the Burshtyn and Dobrotvir thermal power plants.
