Double murder in Lviv region: first details of the tragedy

On February 15, in the village of Stanislavchik, Zolochiv district, Lviv region, two children, ages 13 and 15, and their 42-year-old father were found shot to death. According to preliminary reports, the father committed the murder and then shot himself.

This was reported by Maksym Kozitskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Police Department. Lviv Regional Police reported that the report of gunshots was received at approximately 9:25 PM. The press service of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that, according to preliminary information, the father killed his children himself, after which he likely committed suicide. He used a hunting rifle.

Maxim Kozitsky added that the family where the tragedy occurred is described as well-off. They were not registered with social services.

Earlier, “Pryamiy” reported on a mass murder committed by a 72-year-old man in the Rivne region . Five people were killed: men aged 60 and 68, two women aged 81 and 78 from the Donbas, and a 56-year-old woman from the Kirovohrad region.

Also, in the US state of North Carolina, a 21-year-old refugee from Ukraine, Kateryna Tovmash was shooted.
