Drapatiy prepared a war plan and began personnel changes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Drapaty, has prepared a war plan that has been under consideration by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine for several weeks. At the same time, he has transferred several dozen officers, including colonels and brigadier generals, to the reserve battalion.

This is reported by “Ukrainian Pravda” .

According to sources, the plan should determine what exactly the Ukrainian army should do to preserve Ukraine and by what deadline. The document contains not only general approaches, but also practical issues of defense organization.

In particular, the plan addresses the feasibility of maintaining on the front line military personnel who perform surveillance and information transmission functions, but have limited opportunities to directly participate in battles.

Separately, sources spoke about the personnel changes that Drapatiy is carrying out after his appointment as commander-in-chief. Several dozen officers, including colonels and brigadier generals, have been transferred to the reserve battalion.

“There is a BRES officer corps, but it has never been filled to such an extent as in the last month and a half. In one day, about 15 officers were dismissed from the International Cooperation Department of the General Staff and transferred to BRES,” said one of the journalists’ interlocutors.

Another source stated that “no one is putting any obstacles in Drapatom’s way” in personnel matters.

Also, after Drapaty’s appointment, the approach to commanding the troops changed. According to journalists, the commander-in-chief does not command the troops directly, but exercises control through groups of troops and operational commands.

In addition, Drapatiy seeks to transfer all commanders to the Delta awareness system, which not all military groups currently use. He has also introduced decentralization of command.

It was previously reported that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatiy has begun a personnel review of officers of the General Staff . According to media reports, one of the main criteria will be relevant experience in performing combat missions.
