Drone attack on Chernihiv: number of injured rises to ten
In Chernihiv, after a Russian drone struck a five-story residential building, the number of injured people has increased to ten. Among the injured are three children.
This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
As of 6:00 p.m., one person has been reported dead, an 80-year-old woman. Police and other services are continuing to work at the scene of the hostile attack.
A shelter has been set up near the destroyed house. Residents can stay warm there, while police officers take reports of damaged property.
Investigation and operational teams, patrol officers, forensic experts, explosives technicians, community officers, rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and all emergency services are working at the scene.
Law enforcement officers are documenting the aftermath of the attack, conducting house-to-house searches of neighboring homes, and providing assistance to the victims. Work at the scene of the attack is ongoing.
