In Russia’s Vologda region, drones attacked the Ammonia-3 nitrogen complex at the Apatit plant in Cherepovets.
The region’s governor, Georgy Filimonov, reported this.
According to him, the phosphorus complex’s production site was hit. The attack damaged a high-pressure sulfuric acid pipeline. The leak was quickly contained, no fire occurred, and no hazardous air concentrations were detected.
Industrial buildings and lighting poles also sustained minor damage.
Filimonov noted that the attack occurred in several waves, at least three. Air defense forces allegedly shot down 14 drones.
The strike injured five people, one of whom is in serious condition. All the wounded were hospitalized.
