On the night of October 13, an oil depot in temporarily occupied Feodosia caught fire after a drone attack. Flames and smoke were visible for tens of kilometers.

This is reported by local media.

Local residents heard a series of explosions, followed by a massive fire at the oil depot. Drones with jet engines were seen in the sky above the city.

Crimean Gauleiter Sergei Aksyonov said the facility was attacked by an enemy drone, causing a fire. According to him, Russian air defenses allegedly shot down more than 20 drones.

Numerous videos have been posted on social media showing huge columns of flames and thick black smoke. Eyewitnesses reported that the glow over Feodosia was visible from various areas of the city and surrounding settlements.

“The glow over Feodosia is visible for tens of kilometers,” the report said.

Numerous fire engines arrived at the scene. According to the monitoring group “Crimean Wind”, the large-scale fire is visible even from space – satellite images recorded heat signatures over the city and the sea.

There are also reports of a possible damage to the 220 kV “Kafa” electrical substation near Feodosia, which could have caused power outages in Feodosia and Simferopol.

“According to satellite imagery, a fire is visible near the substation. It is unknown whether the substation was damaged,” the observers noted.

The Kafa electrical substation is an important node in the Crimean power system, distributing power between the northern and eastern parts of the peninsula.

Local Telegram channels also reported drone activity and explosions in the Denisivka and Hvardiyske districts, where military depots and positions are located from which the Russian army launches “shaheeds” across Ukraine.

It was previously reported that a large-scale fire broke out at an oil depot in Feodosia in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea . The fire, which broke out on the night of October 6, spread to other fuel tanks.

By the way, in the evening hours of October 2 , explosions were reported in annexed Crimea over the Kacha and Belbek military airfields , where Russian aviation is based.

It later became known that during the recent attack on the north of temporarily occupied Crimea , Ukraine used its own Flamingo cruise missiles for the first time.
