Drones attacked an oil depot in Kuban and the Kronstadt port area in St. Petersburg.
On the night of June 6, drones attacked several targets across Russia. Specifically, a fire broke out at an oil depot in the Krasnodar region, and air defenses were reported in the St. Petersburg area, along with smoke near the port of Kronstadt.
Russian media reported this.
According to the Unified State Dispatch Service of the Ust-Labinsk District, the Poltavskaya Oil Depot in Ust-Labinsk was hit. Following the attack, a massive fire broke out at the facility, which, according to preliminary estimates, covered approximately 5,000 square meters. There are no reports of casualties yet.
At the same time, Russian authorities reported the downing of dozens of drones over the Leningrad Region . Videos of smoke in the Kronstadt area, home to a naval base and port infrastructure, circulated on social media.
This is the second attack on Kronstadt in the past week. Earlier, on June 3, Ukrainian forces struck facilities at the Kronstadt Naval Base , damaging ships.
Following the attack, St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov urged residents to stay home and warned of possible disruptions to mobile internet service due to the large-scale drone strike.
In addition, reports and videos of fires in temporarily occupied Mariupol have appeared online.
As a reminder, a rationing system for AI-95 gasoline and restrictions on the sale of AI-92 gasoline came into effect in annexed Crimea on May 31. Due to the fuel shortage, gas stations have imposed limits on drivers and banned the sale of gasoline in canisters.
As was subsequently reported, problems with gasoline and restrictions on fuel sales were recorded in at least 15 regions of the country, as well as in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
