On the evening of April 5, drones attacked the Russian city of Novorossiysk in Krasnodar Krai. The strike caused a fire at the Sheskharis oil terminal.

This is reported by Russian media.

According to the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory, drone debris fell on the territory of two enterprises. At the same time, the mayor of Novorossiysk Andrey Kravchenko announced that a multi-story building was hit.

Local residents shared videos showing fires in the port area. According to analysts, the Sheskharis oil terminal was hit.

It is noted that the fires broke out at two berths, as well as in the oil metering system nodes used for fuel shipment.

“The debris of the drone fell into an apartment building,” Andriy Kravchenko reported.

The Sheskharis terminal is the largest oil-loading complex in southern Russia and is part of the structure of Chornomortransneft JSC. The facility provides reception, storage, and export shipment of oil and petroleum products.

By the way, on the night of April 5 , the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of facilities of the Russian aggressor, including an oil refinery, a port , and an aircraft warehouse. As a result of the attacks, fires were recorded at some facilities, and the extent of the damage is being determined.

It was previously reported that on Sunday, April 5, a section of an oil pipeline near the port in Primorsk, Leningrad Oblast, Russia, was damaged by a drone attack .
