Drones attacked occupied Crimea: locals reported explosions

On the night of September 30, a regime of unmanned danger was declared in the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. The occupation authorities announced the operation of air defense in the eastern part of the peninsula.

This was reported by the occupied Crimean Ministry of Emergencies and the Telegram channel “Crimean Wind”,

Local residents were urged not to go out into open areas and to remain calm. At the same time, the Russian side did not provide official information about the consequences of the air defense operation.

Local residents reported explosions in various areas of the peninsula. In particular, loud sounds were heard in Bakhchysarai, Krasnoperekopsk, the Zuya district, Dobrovska Valley, and Simferopol.

Another powerful explosion, according to eyewitnesses, was heard in the Saksky district. Over the Bilogirsky district, local residents also reported the flight of drones in the direction of Simferopol.

In addition, the explosion was heard in the area of the Simferopol GRES. According to eyewitnesses, three loud sounds were heard from the direction of Strogonivka.

Information about possible hits or damage has not yet been confirmed.

It was previously reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of military facilities of the Russian occupiers on September 28 and on the night of September 29. Among the targets were the “Kasta” radar station, drone control points, and ammunition depots.
