On the night of October 14, drones attacked energy infrastructure in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation. The Arzamaska substation was probably under attack.

This was reported on the ASTRA Telegram channel.

In particular, the governor of the region reported the drone attack. As he said, the falling debris of the UAV caused damage to an energy facility. This led to a temporary power outage.

“Power supply has now been restored. Specialists are working at the scene of the incident,” the Russian official assured.

According to the service that tracks temperature anomalies, NASA Firms, a fire broke out at the Arzamaska substation in the Lisohirsk district of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

It is known that the facility in question is one of the energy hubs of the region. The Arzamaska substation, with a capacity of 1,502 MVA, supplies several southern districts with a population of over 200,000 people, as well as Gazprom gas compressor stations and Russian Railways traction substations.

Previously, drones attacked temporarily occupied Crimea , resulting in a hit on the Simferopol TPP facility.
