On the night of Thursday, May 7, local residents in Perm, Russia, reported explosions and a possible drone attack. According to preliminary information, the Perm linear production and dispatch station may have been hit.

This was announced by Advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Serhiy Sternenko.

It should be noted that the object could have been hit again.

“Defense forces have repeatedly struck an oil pumping station near Perm,” he noted.

It is reported that at one of the oil refineries in the region, an emergency pressure relief operation was started in the system.

“Against this background, the refinery is urgently relieving pressure in the system,” Sternenko added.

There is currently no official confirmation from the Russian side regarding the incident and possible consequences. The information is being clarified.

As a reminder, on the night of Thursday, April 30, powerful explosions thundered in several regions of Russia against the backdrop of drone activity. In particular, in Perm, a production station that had already been hit earlier could have been under attack.
