Drones attacked several regions of Russia: what is known

One person has been killed in a drone strike in Tver, Russia. Locals report an explosion and loud noise in the city.

This is reported by Russian media.

Eyewitnesses claim that the attack was carried out by a drone. Emergency services were on the scene after the explosion, and traffic in the area was partially restricted.

In addition to Tver, drones attacked other regions of Russia this night. In Sterlitamak, locals report at least six strikes on a petrochemical plant. In Usman, Lipetsk Region, an oil depot caught fire after the attack. In Penza, a strike was recorded on the state-owned bearing plant PAO Biomintez.

It was previously reported that the Russian plant PJSC “Energia”, which manufactures batteries for drones, as well as batteries for aviation and the Russian Navy, was again attacked.

Recall that attacks on Russian oil refining infrastructure became one of the key events of 2025 – Ukraine turned the Russian oil industry into a vulnerable spot by launching a strategic series of strikes against it.
