Drones attacked Shaturskaya DRES in Moscow region, Russia
On the night of November 23, drones attacked the Shatursk State District Thermal Power Plant (DRES) in the Moscow region. Transformers caught fire there.

On the night of November 23, the mayor of Moscow reported on the shooting down of drones over the Moscow region. Residents of Shatura released videos showing explosions and a fire at a local power plant.
According to Astra OSINT analysis of one of the videos, the footage was shot on Zharova Street, approximately 1.6 kilometers from the DRES. The analysis confirms that the attack caused the Shaturskaya power plant to catch fire. It is likely that the power output node, through which the plant transmits electricity to the unified power system, caught fire.
Shaturskaya DRES named after Lenin is a thermal power plant with a capacity of 1,500 MW. According to open data, it is one of the oldest power plants in Russia, founded in 1920. It provides electricity and heat to part of the Moscow region.
Recall that on November 23, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with 98 strike drones of various types . There are 27 strike drones hit at 12 locations.
