Drones attacked Syzran refinery and Wildberries warehouses in three regions of Russia

On the night of August 4, drones attacked the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara region of Russia. After a series of explosions, a fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise.
This was reported by Russian media.
According to published data, thick smoke rose above the plant after the explosions, and local residents shared a video of the fire. As of the time of publication, the Russian authorities and the Russian Ministry of Defense had not officially commented on the attack.
The Syzran Refinery is owned by the state-owned Rosneft and is part of the Samara Oil Refining Complex. The enterprise is capable of refining about 8.5–8.9 million tons of oil per year and produces gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, and lubricants. Part of the production is used to support Russia’s military infrastructure.
This is not the first attack on the enterprise. Previously, the Syzran Refinery was attacked by drones in December 2025, as well as in March, April, and July 2026.
In addition, a fire following a drone attack has been reported in the city of Chekhov, Moscow Region. According to preliminary information, the Wildberries logistics complex may have been hit. Similar attacks in this area were already recorded in late July.
Also, according to monitoring resources, drones attacked a Wildberries warehouse in the village of Chervonyi Bir, Leningrad Region.
In particular, information about the extent of damage and possible casualties is currently being clarified.
It was previously reported that drones attacked the Wildberries logistics center near the village of Khryastovo in the Vladimir region of the Russian Federation. The strike caused a fire in the warehouse complex, and local authorities confirmed the attack.
It was also reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s unmanned systems struck a convoy of Russian fuel trucks in temporarily occupied Primorsk, Zaporizhia region .
