Drones attacked Tatneft oil facility in Tatarstan

In Russia, local authorities in the Almetyevsk district of Tatarstan announced the “falling debris” of drones and a fire in the tank farm of PJSC Tatneft.

Astra reported this with reference to the head of the district, Guzel Khabutdinova.

The head of the district confirmed the drone attack on the oil facility, which, she said, was shot down by air defense.

According to her, a fire broke out on the territory of the “oil technological system facility” “due to falling debris” from drones. At the same time, the Russian official claims that the fire has already been extinguished and it “did not affect the performance of the equipment.”

Recall that on January 1, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Ilsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation and a number of other important Russian facilities.
