On the night of February 23, a fire broke out at the Kaleikino oil pumping station in the Almetyevsk district of Tatarstan after a series of explosions. According to a statement by the regional authorities, the fire occurred after the fall of drone debris, and there were no injuries.

According to monitoring resources, the fire has engulfed the territory of the station located near the village of Kaleykino near Almetyevsk. The Kaleykino NPS is the main oil pumping station that receives oil from various pipelines and ensures its transportation through the main system.
The facility belongs to JSC Transneft – Prikamye, which is a regional division of PJSC Transneft.
The press service of the head of Tatarstan stated that an industrial enterprise in the republic came under attack.
“An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was neutralized in the sky over the Almetyevsk district by regular air defense means. As a result of falling debris, a local fire broke out in the industrial zone. Emergency services are working at the scene. There are no injuries. Work is currently underway to eliminate the consequences. The situation is under control, there are no direct threats to residents of the district,” authorities said.
“Kaleykino” is an important node for ensuring the operation of the Druzhba oil pipeline and receives oil from various regions before its further transportation. Videos have been published online, which show a large-scale fire on the territory of the facility.
