On the night of Thursday, March 19, the Stavropol Territory of the Russian Federation was subjected to a massive drone attack. The main target was probably the Nevinnomyssk Azot chemical plant. Dozens of powerful explosions were heard there.

This is reported by Russian media.

According to local residents, at least 15-20 loud explosions were heard in Nevinnomyssk, mostly in the industrial zone. According to open OSINT sources, the attacked enterprise is one of the largest producers of nitrogen fertilizers in Russia.

The explosions were so powerful that windows in houses shook and car alarms went off automatically.

Stavropol Krai Governor Vladimir Vladimirov confirmed the drone attack. He urged residents to stay away from the drone debris.

It should be noted that “Nevinnomyssk Azot” produces ammonia, ammonium nitrate, urea, methanol and other chemicals.

Open sources indicate that the plant may be used in the industrial chain of production of components for explosives through ammonium nitrate and other compounds.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck two factories in Russia – an aircraft manufacturing plant in the Ulyanovsk region and an aircraft repair plant in the Novgorod region.

As reported, on the night of Tuesday, March 17, drones attacked cities in the Russian Federation. Powerful explosions thundered in Staraya Russa (Novgorod Region) and Slavyansk-on-Kuban (Krasnodar Territory).
