In the Stavropol region of Russia, on the night of October 13, drone attacks were reported on industrial facilities in two settlements at once – Solnechnodolsk and Nevinnomyssk. Both cities have large energy enterprises, but Russian authorities did not specify which facilities were targeted or whether they were damaged.

This was reported by Russian media, citing the Governor of the Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Vladimirov.

According to the head of the region, drones attacked industrial facilities in Solnechnodolsk. At the same time, he did not report on possible destruction or other consequences of the strike.

Vladimirov also previously claimed that drones had attacked the industrial zone of Nevinnomyssk. These settlements are home to large power plants: Stavropolskaya DRES in Solnechnodolsk and Nevinnomyssk DRES in Nevinnomyssk. However, there is currently no confirmation that these enterprises were attacked.

According to the ASTRA Telegram channel, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the alleged destruction of 604 drones over the country’s regions overnight.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin also announced the drone attack on Moscow. According to him, 65 drones were allegedly shot down on the outskirts of the Russian capital.

There is currently no independent confirmation of the Russian side’s statements about the number of drones shot down.

Earlier it was reported that in Moscow and the Moscow region on October 9, an attack by drones and small balloons was announced, and residents of the capital reported explosions and the work of air defense. Due to the air threat, the “Carpet” plan was implemented at four Moscow airports, and hundreds of flights were delayed or canceled.
