Drones attacked the US embassy in Riyadh: a fire broke out

The US Embassy in Riyadh was attacked by two drones. According to preliminary reports, a small fire broke out and part of the building was damaged.

This was announced by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defense, The Guardian reports.

The explosion occurred on Tuesday morning, sending black smoke billowing over the diplomatic quarter, home to foreign missions.

According to Reuters, there were no injuries – the building was empty at the time of the attack.

Recall that Qatar and the United Arab Emirates are trying to convince Donald Trump to find a way out of the US and Israel’s war against Iran.

As reported, QatarEnergy, one of the world’s largest natural gas producers, completely halted production after Iranian “Shaheed” strikes on its facilities.
