Drones attacked Yaroslavl: dozens of explosions were heard in the city

On the night of May 22, Yaroslavl, Russia, came under a large-scale drone attack. Sirens rang out across the city and a series of powerful explosions were heard by residents in different areas.

This is reported by Russian Telegram channels and Governor Mikhail Yevraev.

According to eyewitnesses, bright flashes were visible in the sky, and the blast waves set off car alarms en masse.

Following the attack, authorities immediately blocked access to the city towards Moscow. Restrictions were imposed on a section of the M-8 highway, and residents were asked to temporarily avoid using the route.

Due to the threat of new strikes, Yaroslavl airport has also suspended operations, with flights temporarily suspended. There is currently no information about casualties or large-scale destruction.

As reported the day before, explosions were heard in the area of the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara region of Russia at night . After that, local residents reported a fire and thick smoke near the plant.
