Drones attacked Yekaterinburg: a fire broke out near the Wildberries warehouse

On the morning of August 31, drones attacked Yekaterinburg. One of the drones fell near the Wildberries logistics center, after which a fire broke out on the territory of the facility.

At around 07:00, an air alert was declared in the city due to the threat of a UAV attack. According to the governor of the Sverdlovsk region, Denis Pasler, drones and their debris fell in several areas of Yekaterinburg, including near residential buildings and a logistics center.

Several fire outbreaks have occurred on the site. Emergency services have arrived at the scene, and people are being evacuated.

According to preliminary information from the Russian authorities, there are no deaths or injuries.

Later, videos from the scene appeared online. The footage shows a drone that fell a few meters from the Wildberries warehouse.

Russian authorities have reported that drones and their debris have fallen on several objects in the city. The exact extent of the damage is currently being determined.

It was previously reported that on the night of August 30, drones attacked one of Russia’s largest oil refineries in Kirishi, Leningrad Region , as well as military airfields in Rostov Region and Krasnodar Territory.
