Drones flew to Ufa: fires broke out near oil refineries

On the night of Thursday, April 2, drones attacked Ufa in Bashkortostan. The strike targeted an industrial area of the city — likely the oil refineries.

According to local residents, the fire broke out in the northern part of Ufa, where Bashneft enterprises are located. These are three refineries – Bashneft-Novoil, Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim, and Bashneft-UNPZ.

Witnesses also reported several explosions in the city. In addition, according to Russian media, one of the drones hit a high-rise building, causing a fire.
Flights at Ufa airport were temporarily suspended amid the attack.
The head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, confirmed the drone attack.
“Several drones were shot down on approach to oil refineries, the wreckage of one fell in an industrial zone. They are currently extinguishing a fire there. One drone hit a residential building on Ghafuri Street,” he said.
According to him, there were no deaths or injuries.
Recall, on the night of Sunday, March 29, drones once again attacked the Leningrad Region of Russia.
