Two key Russian oil ports on the Black Sea have halted tanker loading after warnings of drone attacks.
This was reported by Bloomberg.
In particular, these measures are temporary and preventive. They concern the Caspian Pipeline Consortium terminal and the Sheskharis oil depot, which are located near Novorossiysk in the Krasnodar Territory.
In particular, the suspension of the work of “KTK” was confirmed by the company’s spokesman, who assured that such measures are a common occurrence during air emergencies.
At the same time, a person familiar with the matter said that Sheskharis had also stopped loading tankers.
It is noted that together they export more than 2 million barrels of Russian and Kazakh oil to global markets, making them key links in the supply chain.
“Kazakhstan’s Energy Ministry said oil is continuing to flow into the CPC system, further evidence that the outage is expected to be temporary,” the publication notes.
As a reminder, on Wednesday, September 24, drones and unmanned boats attacked the city of Novorossiysk in the Krasnodar Territory.
Additionally, naval drones attacked the port of Tuapse in Krasnodar Krai. Sirens sounded and explosions echoed throughout the city.
